Option 3 – In PersonIn Person in Alaska: You may go to any county health department in the State of Alaska to obtain a certified copy of an Alaska birth certificate. Most Alaska birth certificates can be issued while you wait. Alaska Birth Certificate Ordering Cost The fee to search for an Alaska birth certificate is $20.00, which includes one certified copy of the Alaska birth certificate or a "Certificate of Failure to Find."
