Introduction to Idaho Divorce Certificates

• Son/Daughter of Person Named on the Idaho Divorce Certificate 
• Grandchildren of individual named on the Idaho Divorce certificate
• Sister/Brother of Person Named on the Idaho Divorce Certificate 
• Legal Representative of an Authorized Person of Person Named on the Idaho Divorce Certificate
• Individuals who provide documentation showing a Idaho Divorce certificate is needed for their property rights

Anyone can obtain an Idaho Divorce Certificate, 50 years or later from the date of the Divorce for genealogy or other reasons.

Option 3 – In Person

In Person in Idaho: You may go to any county health department in the State of Idaho to obtain a certified copy of an Idaho Divorce certificate. Most Idaho Divorce certificates can be issued while you wait.

The fee to search for an Idaho Divorce certificate is $13.00, which includes one certified copy of the Idaho Divorce certificate or a "Certificate of Failure to Find."
